Bob Addleman
Underwriting Sales Representative
Bob Addleman joined the DUQ Development Department as an Underwriting Sales Representative in 1997. As a DUQ Underwriting Sales Representative, he works to cultivate relationships with businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals who value an on-air association with DUQ. In return for their generous support of the station, DUQ recognizes these underwriters in accordance with FCC regulations governing the disclosure to our listeners of our various sources of program funding.
Bob came to the station from WYEP-FM, where he was the Marketing Director for four years. Additionally, he has an extensive background in commercial radio at several Pittsburgh radio stations including WORD, WBZZ and WMXP. Prior to that, he was District Manager for Civil Engineering magazine, a Senior Sales Engineer for Codex Corp., Motorola ISG and Communications Consultant for American Datacomm.
A native of Pittsburgh, Bob is a graduate of Michigan State University and is very involved in the community. He is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and sings in his church choir. Bob plays the trumpet, sings and performs regularly in The Barons and also volunteers as a bugler for military funerals with the Korean War Veterans.
Bob is also the general chair of the Pittsburgh Blues Festival which benefits the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, the Director for Syria Temple Shrine and in his sixth year as District Deputy Grand Master for the 57th Masonic District of the Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania.
