Mark Bertolet
Director of Marketing and Communication
Mark joined WDUQ in 2005 as Marketing and Communication Associate. His duties include writing and scheduling on-air promotions, website content, coordinating and attending DUQ sponsored events, special promotions and listener services.
Before coming to DUQ, Mark was Marketing and Communications Assistant at Carnegie Museum of Art, where, among other things, he developed press releases and other promotional materials for the museum's exhibitions and wrote and edited several different newsletters. He also worked for several years at Barnes & Noble, where he scheduled author signings and in-store events, and indulged his interest in books.
Mark received a Bachelors Degree from Shippensburg State University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Masters Degree in Corporate Communications from Duquesne. He has written articles for local and regional publications, including a radio essay that aired on Marketplace in 2004.
He lives with his wife and two daughters in Squirrel Hill.
