Frank Kelly
Jazz Host
Frank Kelly joined DUQ in 2001 as a staff announcer, picking up two late nights and Saturday Afternoon Jazz in 2004. He started in radio at WPWA in Chester PA. He refuses to say how long ago that was, but does admit that on his early DJ shifts he played 78 rpm records! After a few years at WDEL and WDEL-FM in Wilmington Delaware playing classical music, he spent most of his working life as an engineer and international marketer.
Jazz is his favorite genre, but his first love is the standard songs, so he's never happier than when he's playing Ella Fitzgerald singing a Gershwin tune for DUQ listeners.
