This Musical City: The Newlanders

Robert Schmertz was an arcitecht who taught at The Carnegie Institute of Technology. He also wrote great songs dealing with the history, people, and places of Western Pennsylvania. The contemporary folk group the Newlanders is working to bring his songs to a new generation and asked Pete Seeger for help with the project.
