Rhythm Sweet & Hot airs on DUQ Saturdays from 7 to 10 pm. It is a musical variety program that entertains audiences by capturing the essence of musical culture from the 1920s to the 1940s. Listeners hear the well-known, big names of swing and are also able to discover the music of artists whose records "can’t be found at the local mall." Hosts Mike Plaskett and Dale Abraham enjoy sharing recordings that have been passed over in the changing fashion of the music and radio businesses.

In 1998, DUQ began syndicating a one-hour version of Rhythm Sweet & Hot to stations around the country. Now, more than 20 stations carry the show weekly, including stations in Puerto Rico and Australia.
