Katherine Fink

News Reporter/All Things Considered Host

In 2001, Katherine Fink joined the DUQ news department as a newsreporter and host of All Things Considered. Katherine was previously the News Director for CBS affiliate WINA-AM in Charlottesville, Virginia and Editor of the radio station's website www.wina.com. In addition to making assignments for the news, talk and sports station, she also conducted research, wrote news stories and hosted radio newscasts. Her work with the WINA website included writing web news reports several times a day and working on the website's format and navigation.

Katherine also worked as a researcher and editor for an upcoming book, "Spectrum Rush," by James Murray which explores the history of the cellular industry.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Katherine attended the New College of the University of Southern Florida and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Slavic Languages and Literature.

Katherine enjoys music and has played both the double bass and the piano for over 15 years. While living in Charlottesville, she played the double bass with the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra.
