Gina Boyd

Traffic and Development Assistant

Gina Boyd joined DUQ in the spring of 2002. Her duties as Traffic and Development Assistant include making sure underwriting spots get scheduled into the programming logs and the announcers’ hands.

Gina came to DUQ from WQED Pittsburgh, where she was the Viewer Services/Programming Assistant, and then became the Membership Coordinator. The position in Membership provided ample opportunities for writing and editing newsletters, running affinity clubs and learning all angles of membership and non-profit fundraising.

A native of Western PA, Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked in Chicago, Detroit and London, England before returning to the area to start her family.

Gina is currently pursuing her Masters degree in English at Duquesne University. She lives in Edgewood.
